I then installed the chip afterwards.
I thought you had a supplier issue?????
Plugged my chip in this morning and cannot speak highly enough of it. Boosts to 1.1bar till redline, no engine problems whatsoever, super smooth and spools up faster than before. All in all an excellent purchase, obviously time will tell if the engine lasts with this chip but the car has been transformed by it and the engine is running super smooth. Very pleased with ESL.
Thanks for organising the GB nick!

Could well be the plugs? How many miles have you done? You should really let it bed in and learn. Bring the boost in little by little and the ECU will self learn. If it is still misfiring the check the plug gaps.
Nick.
Nick.
only done 20 or so miles, how many have you done? did either of you suffer and misfiring at all after fitting the chip?
I need to get a boost guage fitted too as at the moment it feels exactly the same as before at low revs then just misfires at high revs.

Danny, it would be wise to contact me direct for support on service@enduringsolutions.com as I dont frequent this board very often. If you visit www.enduringsolutions.co.uk/troubleshoot/ you will see the title 'Car runs but misfires' which will advise you to gap your plugs to 0.6-0.7mm and check under the boots of the coilpacks for cracks.
Thanks to all who bought one on the GB, especially Nick for organising, and thanks for all the kind comments on the product. Glad all but one are pleased and I'm hopeful Danny will be too when his plugs have been correctly gapped.
Cheers
Andy

ESL
No misfiring here at all. In fact i was thinking if anyone would have problems it would be me, I'm running a 1993 wagon which initially came with the TD04 turbo. i upgraded to a TD05 and a new ECU with the ESL saloon map in it which took my power from 215BHP with the old turbo/map to about 280BHP with the TD05 and esl saloon map. Had my plugs changed 500 miles ago so as advised I'd check these out. Done about 20 miles myself, no running in problems at all, took it for a few miles up a hill to the cotswolds and it settled in a treat.
Good luck with fixing the problem.

Not without removing them mate no. So whilst they are out i may as well put new ones in as i don't know when they were last changed. Struggling to find anyone locally to change them cheaply enough so a 2 hour round trip to the scoobyclinic might be in order
Forgot to update this!
Fitted new plugs myself in the end, gapped to 0.7mm car now runs perfectly, pulls really strong.
To summarise, this chip has definately made a difference to the power. Will get it rolling roaded sooner or later to give a definative figure.
Thanks Nick, for organising the GB and getting us such a good price.

Glad you got it sorted, thought it might have been the plug gap!! Glad you like it! The price of £170 was well worth it in my eyes, makes such a difference!
Please update us when you get it rolling roaded!
Glad you enjoy it Danny!

I think there was a post not so long ago in which a classic with full decat, filter and ScoobyECU - it got something like 318 bhp on the RR!!!
I think that the hot weather would make quite a bit of difference, if colder then I believe you probably would hit 300bhp!

Walbro fuel pump
Fuel reg
Bigger TMIC or FMIC
Bigger injectors (440cc or 550cc)
Maybe - 3 bar MAP sensor to run over 1.2 bar
Remap of ESL or Apexi?
After that I'd say new turbo!

Is it right than when you fit the scooby ecu . You need to run through a tank of petrol for the ecu to adjust properly. Thought this might be a good place to ask as most of you guys have purchased them. Anybody know wht this is?
Thanks
