Sara, your preference isn't always possible on a public forum.

That'd be a major shame wouldn't it, someone taking one of your threads off-topic, because it isn't as if you'd ever do that now is it.

Talk about being a hypocrite!

Go and complain to Shaun then! If you don't like how things are moderated, put up or shut up! (I await the thread in policy)

You just don't like it when you're pulled up do you. You like to be able to do your attention ***** thing, muppet other threads, help in muppeting other threads, posting mind numbingly banal threads and more besides. Yet when someone dares to take one of your threads off topic, or criticises you, then you get all upset.

Right back on topic, your eyelids only have around 15% of the protection form UVa/b as the rest of your skin, so yes Sara they are for your eyes

so your saying that i should have used google instead of asking a question on here?
have you gone into all the other thousands of threads and made the same comments?...........thought not

why dont you stop minding my business and start minding your own

stop trolling me

I think you tend to go off-topic on quite a few threads, rather than one or two, and thus you asking for this thread not to go OT is a little hypocritial don't you think.

Chris' post might have been a tad tactless but he does have a somewhat valid point and others have agreed with him on this. His being a mod has nothing to do with it. Someone else commented they were about to say something similar, so would you have had a go at them as well, or was it only because it was a mod and you thought they were abusing their power as a mod?

I assume you have not read various posts of mine in Computer Related then, where I do, from time to time, offer advice and solutions to people. I would not call that worthless, and I think others would tend to agree.
As for posts in other forums on this board, some of them could well be worthless, I guess it depends on how you attribute worth to something.

I'm sure that quite a few others are of the opinion that you and other muppets should keep some of your threads to the muppet forum, for example, the "doing things to drunk people" thread (or whatever it was called). In doing that most of us who don't venture in there (and before you call me a hypocrite, I did used to visit muppets a fair bit a few years ago, but I no longer do, part of the reason is the general banality of the threads there these days) would not see, not need to comment as I have.

I've no problem with serious threads such as your Cancer thread, but as mentioned, "silly" threads should be kept in the muppet forum, that is what it exists for.

OMG sorry but chris your post was totally out of order and so are the other posts having a go!

As far as I see Sara was posting a genuine question. Perhaps the Non Scooby Related forum should be deleted and everyone told to use google

I think chris needs to apologise, but unfortunately it takes a man to do that so no one hold their breath.

Ok flame suit on, fire away

Chris doesn't need to apologise for fúcks sake!!

Markus is spot on with threads 33 and 34, and Sara has to know that herself, surely?

Let's see, I want to ask a question, what shall I do:

a) Post in NSR first, even though I say I'm busy I can still go to SN and then come back later and check for replies

b) go to google, enter my question and see if anything comes up, if not, decide wether to come back and research further when I have more time, or then post on SN asking.

Hmm, which one would the majority of people choose I wonder? Shall we have a poll?

Surely you'll like a plank if you wear the eye protection.

2 white eyes on a nice tanned face.

Nice

Just safe conscious britain as usual, health and safety this, health and safety that!

You dont go on holiday and lie in 40c heat by the pool with eye protection on. Why should you for 6-12mins on a sunbed?

Well there is taking off topic and then being an insensitive tw*t ( I am in the same playground as Spoon and I'm bigger than him). As a moderator he needs to be above reproach!

the mods are the same as sn members, the only difference is that they wear a badge and preach that they give their services for free. quite honestly who would want to pay them for the ****e they post anyway
