Found all my gear today, including my old seat/box made in 3rd year woodwork!

Couldn't beleive it, the Mitchell reels still work perfectly, they haven't seen the light of day for over twenty years!

John,

some questions:

1. obviously I need some new line, what lb would you recommend, and would you tie straight to that or use a hook length?

2. Where is the nearest fishing shop from Hockley?

3. What sort of bait should I get? Maggots, sweet corn, hemp, ground bait?

also does anyone have a spare landing and keep net I could borrow, both of mine have rotted away.
