You are liable to be prosectuted if you display competition numbers on the public highway... a cross of black tape will render you immune from the evil forces of law and order.
They're aftermarket jobs mate - I don't believe they were ever official Subaru items. I expect the previous owner bought them but never had them painted.
Typically people have them colour coded to the car before fitting otherwise they'll just be black plastic.

got mine as a kit off a guy on SIDC came already painted wr blue, with subaru instructions, but think prodrive are the ones that had the kit at 400 quid, lamps included
really nice m8, how come some have rear wipers on and some dont?????
sedge
It's a JDM thing I believe, although I'm sure some people retro fit them to UK cars - I'm toying with the idea as I have to reverse off a drive and it's a PITA to clean the rear screen every time it rains

yeah same here, sure you will need new glass which wont be cheap
I really do love this car, its looks the DOGz mate. I sold some Camo graphics to some guys on here, but I havent yet seen the completed look. One was Phil (OH FLOCK) but he broke the car before I got chance to see the end look

I use Rain-X original plus their anti-fog. Seems to do the job.
Yes it's not as good as having a rear wiper but I think it looks cleaner. Plus you save the weight of not having another wiper and motor to drive it ;-)
