Looks like you had a good day and I do humbly apologise for not attending but my car has been sat at the front of the Used Car Roadshow all day and was used for an article with Penny and Jason filming as in the picture below.

Also glad I didnt go all the way up there as my car is still driving like a bag of crap! I think that exhaust has to go

Seriously... It was great to see you all today guys and gals... shame the weather spoilt any further chats, but we're looking foward to our further meet ups this year and to the slight increase in the freindly club rivalry...
We'll have to make sure we get a stand next door next time....

Great day had by all.
I would like to thank The Greenwood (Greenwoods Subaru of Manchester) for supplying the BBQ and Prosport for thier Rally Car display, cheers lads for giving your Sunday up and helping us win 3rd Place.
Would like to also thank Dai and Carl for an entertaining drive home along some very narrow roads at times, and quite alot of twistys and airbourne action at time.
Have to get touch up paint out already on fresh painted front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who won what in the Raffle then?

Big thanks also from me and I can only repeat all that has been mentioned already.
A shame about the weather but it didn't dampen our spirits.
Congratulations for the award. Was great to see so many motors together from our area.
Mainly tho, thanks for letting me stick with the club even tho the scoob is long gone... but not forgotten...
and who knows what the future may bring
Andy, the biker must have been in pretty bad shape as the police closed the motorway
for a helicopter to land a few cars in front of us.
So we were stuck there for ages while they worked on him and finally took him by air ambulance.
Ditto, hope he's OK!
One pic for now as it's a bit late to go thu them all.

Yes, Great day. Again, well done to everyone for their efforts involved to make it a Prize-winning stand!
Some piccys…..

This deserves a photo caption…

Myself, Dai and Martin (the black arrows!) took a major diversion on the way home and I finally got to see the viaduct!
Dai may want to explain this photo……
His car was in-front, the cows took a bit of a shine too him and all we could hear was him squealing over the radio
– lets just say the wildlife got its own back!!!!!

Cheers, Carl

Congratulations go out to the SMACS led by CW and the team for a fantastic display
The Cars were laid out to perfection in a correct format with all the blues and blacks togethr
the Tent and Banner was first class along with Cooking section and especially the mothers and Kids section in your stand !!!
a new NBO club stand first
good photos of your Group cars and events were all on Display and Club information available to visitors to your stand which were made very wellcome with enthuastic Club members all smartly dressed with club t-shirts even down to individual names on them -a nice touch
Andy (i think thats your name from raid across the border fame) was full of passion and comitmnent to the SMACS cause
then the now even more legendary CW and his long suffering Misses came along to explain our the stand was better then last years 2 cars and a banner and his Misses is now queen of the Convoy leading a 20 strong convoy as acording to legend CW normally gets led into unknown terratory ,
Fantastic Display well done to you all for your passion and enthuaism that made the NBO a success and good luck for next years
Club Stand of the Day
which Im sure the standards will be even higher for you all

John,
Thanks for your comments. The award just shows how far the club has come in a few short months and it was nice to go away with something. A real boost to those who attended and made it a great day.
I will have to make sure that the brown envelope is packed little fuller next year, and then who know where we could come.

Bah, humbug.
Still....
<----- suppose this means that I was an honorary third then, eh?
Seriously, well done guys and gals.
This has really thrown down the gauntlet for next year. The WYIOC stand planning is already underway. Just hope that there's no WRC events scheduled for the same weekend, otherwise our plans to kidnap a certain Mr Solberg could end up jeopardising Subaru's WRC Championship standings
WELL DONE!
