well good news! my warrenty is paying out for the job!! iv just got to send them the bill from the garage i have chosen! so ordered everything! uprated gaskets! new cam belt! and tensioners, gettin bottom end balanced! new twin plate clutch/ and lighted fly wheel! removin the air con belt! etc! went up b4 to garage! the motor is out with both heads off!! he only startd it this morn! im tryin to source an STi intercooler! alloy one! theres a guy brakin a classic near me! goin down 2mora! guy at garage i gona make up the extra stuff on labour hours and claim cash back!! just ordered nice big filter aswell! hehe!! shud have it back in just over a week!!!

been back to garage to day! scooby looks so sad in like a million bits1 lol when the bloke has striped it it has fitted forged CP pistons! anyone heard or have these fitted to there scoob?? anyways all the bits came today as well!! guy rekons it shud be ready by Monday!! sayin that it is the only car he's workin on lol!!

you dont want a nice big filter TBH
standard airbox and a quality panel filter would be a much better bet IMO
