Banny, all a bit tongue in cheek from the Bugeye clan, it's usually the other way round, you know the one, Bugeye the ugliest Scoob etc.

The worms have turned

I like all Impreza's - good base cars for modification and despite what anyone might say, properly looked after they can take plenty of abuse. Like the look of the 2001/2's - otherwise I wouldn't of bought mine. Who buy's Scoobs to win beauty contests anyway?

4WD only makes a difference in the wet? I'd love to see a front wheel drive car put 280bhp plus down effectively off a roundabout.

Thanks, missed that. He obviously felt it would be showing off too much to show the front as well. You'll find that Bug owners tend to be more reserved and subtle

To be honest I am quite surprised that this thread is still in the main good natured and people being respectful to others. You don't need to abuse someone with a different opinion and you bugeye owners are showing that . Maybe the bugeye attracts a different class of owner hmmm.....

You could well be right, I for one have great respect for ALL Impreza's I also respect people's choice to modify them to their own tastes, something that is often met with derisory comments.

pmsl, yup, they command such a high resale value and are priced out of most normal people's budget from new straight away ... get real, i've probably spent more money fixing this French clutter than you'd have paid new for your shed

I have much love and respect for the classics, but sorry, the bug eye is hideous, they may look 'okay' from the back but it's rare you'll ever see that unless your parked up
