I'm a Paramedic. I don't earn a great deal for the responsibility and crap I have to put up with from the general public.

Purchasing manager who saves the company hundreds of thousands!!!!! underpaid though for what i do - there is nothing (almost) that i cant get cheper - and as good

So if we want to organise a group buy your THE man to see then

Foster Carer and accountant
Moneys not bad
but you do take some $hit from the kids at times but generally not as much as they have taken in their life so hey ho.

Monitor review and commission supported living schemes. Local governemnt, so I'm obliged to say cr*p pay, no bonuses, no overtime, no car, no Xmas do.
Still, my wife looks after our daughter everyday, and doesn't get paid...

I work in Research & Development for Ford Motor Co.
Pay is not bad, driving future models before and if they come out is the bonus .

I'm a Uni lecturer too, in archaeology. What's your field? Been at it a few years now and just got promotion to senior lecturer but thinking seriously about setting up my own archaeology business. I agree there is lots of grief. The profession isn't what is used to be: they're trying to tell me I'm a 'facilitator of learning'
