Think I saw they have a buy it now on ebay for 250quid.
All I can say is dont. Service from flat4 was spot on but you have to savage your bumper to fit this and the pipework is terrible, completely forced into the engine bay. Save and pay for an expensive one. These are cheap because they're rubbish.

it's the pipework that did it for me, notice the water bottle sitting in the engine bay... it's nowhere near that shape anymore, I found that it just never lined up properly anywhere.
The amount needed to cut of the bumper was scarey. A good way into it I just thought 'what on earth have I done'
For anything less than 400bhp go for an STI7-8 tmic and large scoop. Plus it's imensely laggy now, but I do also have a big turbo and headers whichdoesn't help.

My god you lot must either be butchers or perfectionists!!!
I have an MY00 and everything fitted perfectly with no squashed water bottles or aircon fan cutting and I can close my bonnet and unscrew the oil filler cap, the inlet pipe fitted snuggly between the battery and the oil filler cap.
The only issue I had was how much of the wing to cut away to fit the outlet pipe and my APS.
Will post pics sometime.

Can anybody tell me what size all the hose clamps are as i want to order some better quality ones, i knackered one when fitting and have have one of the connections blow apart allready.
The FMIC is fitted and what b4stard it was to to do! Lots of metal and bumper cutting involved and i dropped the intercooler down more slightly to help the pipes clear a bit better.

Mines still in bits, pipe work is a mare. It will need cutting in a couple of places to make it fit. So far i have removed the battery, fuel filter and some pipes and its still tight. Its been in bits for weeks now as i have had no time to get it sorted. I am doing it myself as the garage said it was to much work for them.
Scott at flat 4 has been helpful enough, he sent me some extra pipe out and always replys to my email....even the one i sent at 3 in the morning rather stressed after trying to fit the top pipe for hours on end.
I will post up some pics of my probs and how i solved them when i am off work next if that helps anyone.

I've got a hybrid one on mine. Clamps are the proper motersport type Ie: T bar, we had no problems fitting but we did have to cut the inner wing.
I hear what your saying about the pipe work, mine has discoloured and flaking in places due to winter salt etc. goner have them cleaned and either powder coated or sprayed.
I don't notice any lag and I've got a bigger turbo than standard (Vf28).

If it didn't sit to one side the cold air inlet pipe wouldn't line up with the throttle body, and probably would have had to cut the inner wing. May have allowed the fog lights to re-fit that way though.

Were would you cut this pipe?
I need to cut this pipe to make it line up with the other pipe i cut but not sure were to cut A or B. I'm thinking B because cutting at A would take it closer to the washer bottle.
Not really sure if it makes any odds but would like some input
