Great meet 2day , brilliant run over the mountains in pretty crappy weather but the noise in the caernarfon tunnels definately one of the highs too. 1st meet for me too, hope to tag along on more soon.

Sounds as though you all enjoyed the drive! I will be there on the next one.

great to see great scoobys on sunday and meet people i was the one in new age sti with two kids,got as far as betws but turned back ,my daughter is not the best traveller in the world.hope you all had agreat drive.see you all soon.

Glad you made it Derek! I didn't get anywhere on the run so you managed more than me. At least I got there.
Ah, I thought Wyn might have been yelling because of that but I wasn't sure
I haven't been on a run before but I WILL make sure I can at the next meet. I wanted to make sure my gearbox was right first.
How about making this monthly or there abouts? We could have a thread each time so we know when it is anyway.

I would rather not be on a run where I have to hold on for dear life and driving at stupid speeds just to keep up. In my opinion they're ridiculous, especially as I had 3 small children in the back too, and before that, 2 children and pregnant with 1.
It's pathetic, all these people are interested in is going as fast as they can, overtaking as many cars as they can, regardless of other people on the road and passengers and drivers of cars following.

Not been on a run as yet. Just met up with everyone and wanted to make sure my gearbox was ok first!
I don't think I would particularly like to be driving around like a maniac...I enjoy my car as much as the next person but I don't think that driving like an idiot is necessary. Surely they aren't all like that?!?!

By all means go along because they're a nice bunch, just the driving above 100MPH I don't agree with.
Enjoy your car, don't try to see how many near misses you have before you write it off
And treat her with the care she deserves 
It seems to me like these runs are to push the car's off the MPH limit and see who can get there first, how many cars can be overtaken in one go and probably p!ss other road users in the process, Yes, the Impreza is a nice car, some with impressive mods and BHP etc, but that doesn't mean you own the road
Personally, I prefer the meets where you can have a chat with the other drivers, discuss cars etc and make friends within the circle, not go on hell for leather drives

To be honest this is what we did in Abergele last time before they went off for the drive. If you can come along on 21st May please do. I think the chatting and getting to speak to other owners is important as it is good to network and pass on knowledge and experiences, it can save some terrible heart aches!
I am also trying to arrange a Wirral meet for 30th April. I will put a thread on the North area bit tomorrow. If you fancy that, it is just a chat one....no planned drive.
