Any useful tips for fitting?

It was all fitted at API so i'm not sure about the fitting but i think its an easy swap over.
I also had STI injectors and portred headers fitted as part of the package

My tip would be to start thinking about what you're going to do about the scoop shroud. The standard one will only pass air to about 2/3 of the APS.

My first step was to butcher the old one which has done the job, just, so far, but won't be anywhere near good enough to grace such a sparkly engine bay as yours. I've bought a sheet of ali, some ali 90deg lengths and a run of squidgy hot water pipe insulation to make my own up. I'll post the results when I have any!

I should have said that i've fitted the larger STI shroud along with an air splitter, your right the o/e wrx one is small over the APS top mount.
I wanted to speak to you yesterday but had to shoot off early as had to get back for a footie match.Got a little glitch with the car at the mo but all will be well soon.
