just got back in
i drove round for an hour trying to find the 4 satelites then realised that i was meant to be still, i wondered why i kept losing them
i got a bit muddled up with the stoopid woman , she continually repeated the instructions and as if i was blonde
anyway i made it to my house from half a mile away
not quite sure how to update it though

You'll get there Sara.
I've got a TomTom on an ipaq, so I'm not sure how to update yours. But trust me, make sure you get the speedcameras onto it !!! - Saved my bacon many times.
Also, you can get your favourite POIs onto them ie. High streets shops, restaurants, hotels etc, Optimax petrol stations - well handy.
Always check the route it gives you too - it doesn't always know best!!
You didn't find yourself on anyones driveway then ??

Whereabouts??, I've only been blessed with the Scooby since Nov 05, must have been recently. I'm sure I'd of noticed a cashmere yello scoob if you were behind me. I've got a Scooby-doo cuddly toy on the parcel shelf if that helps!!
Thinking about it, I may have seen you a few times in kempston (about 8am ish, not for some months, and infrequently), but this one was looking fairly standard @ the time - maybe it wasn't you.
Will defo keep an eye out for u. Pull me over if you see me, it's always nice putting names to faces

On two occasions I have been following it down smaller and smaller lanes, only to pass a farm yard and them the track heads off down a footpath or a ploughed field that you'd struggle to get a Landrover down. As you can imaging I am then in the middle of absolute nowhere with no way out but to reverse back down a couple of miles of single track road, pick a random direction and keep going until I have found a main road. Then the ****** has wanted to route me back the same way as before even though I've gone about 7 miles off the original route.
TomTom Go by the way, 99% of the time it's great. But when it ***** up it ***** up badly!
Oh yeah, both times it has happened in the dead of night, no lights anywhere, just the crappy Scooby headlights to try and keep me out of the ditches!
