Thumbs up IM BOOKED IN

Hi

booked myself in with David at API for a new clutch.

Thought I would call in, to find the place and say hello, last friday, very impressed with what I saw. Great set up, welcoming and informative and its not everywhere you see customers cars covered up when they are not being worked on.

Cheers David

wagonstan,

just phone David at API and arrange to have the work done - it's as easy as that.

David API,
I've sent you a PM regarding this GB - I've got a MY99 (dont need flywheel, nor fitting - mail order only).
Is it too late?
Let me know

Kenny

Hi, Thanks for your interest in APi. Yes they fit your car fine.

If you call us we can get this organised for you. Fitting will be a bit of a problem as we are buried in work and we are already fitting 3 next week which make any more impossible.

The week after Easter l only have one Subaru engineer in as the other is taking a holiday.

So earliest fit date here will be either the Monday 10th April or the Thursday 13th. Before Easter or then around about the 27th

Let me know what we can do by phone and we'll get you sorted ASAP

Good Luck
David

Job done, thanks again for the Group Buy, and to Nathen for taking the time to explain things to me, also the office staff for the endless supply of coffee.

OK, there's always one and it's me this time.

I know it says the closing date is March 31st but I haven't seen this group buy before. Is it possible to jump on the back of this for a flywheel, clutch and fitting or am definitely too late?

It's for a MY02.

Sorry mate, it closed a week ago. A few hours would be possible but a week is too late.

Default The jobs a good 'un

Had my clutch and flywheel fitted last Friday (and a cambelt change) at API.

What can I say, what a good bunch of blokes, coffee on arrival, a lift into Leamington (and collection later),they finished earlier than I expected which meant I wasn't late home, they sorted out a couple of other minor problems that I hadn't got around to doing and also a bit of preventative maintenance to guard against possible problems in the future.

The car is back to it's best now and the lightened flywheel really improves low speed pick up, the car feels a bit more 'eager' when pulling away, I've just got to get used to the 'bite' point now as it's right at the beginning of the pedal travel now and not at the end (only stalled once mind).

Top job API, I salute you.
