More popular or fast selling the item the lower the mark up/margin/profit
So Tags have quite a high mark up as do all the "designer" type watches like Armani, Gucci etc
Anything decent such as Breitling , Rolex, Cartier will have a small mark up, why not buy a decent watch from Terminal 3 you get VAT free and maybe a little more.

You are spending the best part of £1k on a wrist watch and faffing about like Del Boy and Rodders to get it!
If you can afford a £1k watch then your time is worth more than you are putting in to save an extra few £££ here are there.....just buy the thing and get on with some work!

If the markup was normally 40% and they got 20% they would probably still be happy,
average price £3000ish? but easy to order in new stock when they sell it, other makes and models with limited supply lines may (and will be) different
