Just to remind you
Since being a member on NASIOC I have seen some realy nice and some fantastic looking scoobs and one in perticular ESEMS 06 WRX STI.
Seen here:
One item that I think makes that car look extra nice is those Work Emotions in Gunmetal (8X18)
Seen here:
(He has since sold these and has got Volks)
So this got me thinking
Why not put those Work Emotions onto Said RB5 ??
Well I have just done that.
PLEASE BE WARNED SOME SERIOUS LOOKING RB5
Darren
P.S. Elmer/Jon I hope you don't mind

This is actually quite a depressing read for me, cos I wished I hadn't sold this car, almost as soon as Kevinperth drove out of my driveway.
In fact, a few months after Kevin bought it, he advertised it on here, and I bombarded him with pm's to try and buy it back, but alas, he never replied and appeared to stop posting, so I assumed he had stopped visiting SN.
In the end up I bought another classic, a UK Turbo which I kept bog standard in appearance but fitted a VF28, full de-cat and Andy F remap for 296 bhp and 306 lb/ft
Still rather have kept ol' 378......there will never be another like her.....
Damn wife! Still haven't forgiven her for talking me into selling her.

I know that Kevinperth changed the turbo, went for a remap and decided to track it, which should be a crime punishable by death IMO
Such a fine example should have been glass cased and cherished!
To be honest, I dunno if I'd want her back now, cos I doubt she'll be in the same condition as when Jon and then I owned her....

If I come into some money, I would buy a RB5 WR Sport model. Take it to a company that does full car restorations (sp?) and have the car striped to its bare shell, and re-paint, re condition with new parts (inc. Engine, transmission etc) thus making a brand new (ish) RB5 in tip-top show room condition. Weather it would not be approved by many Impreza/RB5 die hard enthusiasts would be another matter. But if I get that chance, thats what I want to do. Not only as I love the colour on the RB5 - Steel blue - and I love classic's and impreza's too much, but also would want to have a impreza classic brand new, rather than a 2nd or 3rd hand one.

Hi BK!
Are you aware of the RB5 Owners Club? We'd love to see pictures of 378! Wondered where it's gone.
Come on over:
