Fact 1 - It was a VW Tracy, or Sharon, or summat like that, not a fahookin corsa. But then what do you expect from someone who thinks his Corolla is a Scoob?

Fact 2 - They were mates. But notice the past tense. They may think that they are still mates, which is fine by me. When operation 'Make-the-b'sards-pay-big-time' comes to fruition I doubt they will look upon me so favourably

Fact 3 - It was 12 minutes

MAY I first point out that none of fact one are used by the police so i assumed that it must be a corsa because nobody in the right mind would get pulled over by a people carrier/ you decide which is worse a corsa (slightly believe-abul) or a (MPV) and what colour was it white , silver , no it was blue just like a real police car Maybe you thought you were in italy. (havin been sat in a few recently I know you see)

FACT 3) 15-or-12 it was still wrong

The scene, a cold, dark night in deepest rural Ryhill. The setting, 3 police officers on routine traffic duties sit just on the outskirts of town keeping an eye out for suspicious looking vehicles in this known crime hotspot. An obvious suspect passes the unmarked car containing the 3 officers, decked out in their hi-vis jackets, walkie talkies and police issue caps, and proceeds into a national speed limit area. It is noted that the driver appears to be driving over-cautiously, possibly aware of the intentions of the vehicle now following him. After a few hundred yards a PNC check reveals that there may be some discrepencies relating to the driver of the blue Subaru Impreza, and so the blues and two's go on. The Scoob immediately brakes, indicates and pulls to the roadside. One officer makes his way towards the drivers door, whilst the others begin the routine inspections of the car.
"is this your vehicle sir ?"
"Yes, it is !" answers the driver, squinting as the officer illuminates his pale, nervous face with his high powered torch.
"And do you have a license to drive it sir ?"
The drivers face changes slightly, switching from fear and worry to confusion, he squints a little in the bright light as he begins to recognise the face and voice before answering,
"T W A T !"

The three officers, Sgt Alan Cook and PC's Mick Ward and David Watson (aka Alan C, MickWRX and corradoboy ) all burst out laughing, as Sticky's passenger, Dazza wets himself for about the 3rd time that night.

Hook, line and sinker

DISCLAIMER/- as borrowed from corradoboy's post no.7 on thread 'major sting

Now then back to gear box if you want

Update:

Final testing on the rolling road went well yesterday with a further few improvements made. A small oil leak and a knocking intercooler pipe were discovered so it's back at Scooby Mania to finish it off.

Unfortunatley this means I won't have it back in time. Mike is going to bring it to Scooby Shootout on Sunday to give it me back so we can still have it as a "stand" car if you want since it's stickered up.

Since I'm not getting it back until Sunday I won't have time to test it, get the road legal slicks on it or do any testing whatsoever. I'm also loath to over stress it after just getting it back and I've got a very busy rest of May so just want my car back (know what I mean Al?)

Sorry it sounds like I'm making excuses but I thought you guys best know.
I'll still be there (probably later than my car!) mid-morning to cheer Martin!
