My damn DVD player has dedided to give itself up - I need a new one with digital built in and needs to be a recorder - any ideas?

Wouldnt mind but was watching a rented film and it just died near the end of the film so had to crack it open and get the disk out then finish watching the film on the PS2

I want a recorder with 5.1 but there doesnt seem to be any unless there like £500

Ive been playing on one all week with a massive 1080p 52" screen and it truely is an awsome setup
