why didnt i listen to people an not sign up to bt, they are the worse company ever. British telecom my **** there call centres are based in fecking india, im payin for 8 meg an recieving less than 4. im currently on hold to cancel an have been waiting on the phone for 15 mins, thats a good way of disuading you from cancelling. Come back virgin all is forgiven. i pay £40 a month, what a mug i am

Ste whats wrong with your BT broadband mate? Even though they advertise 8 meg its rare you actually get that speed mate, 4 to 6 is typical (depends on how far you are from the exchange, what the quality of your line is like, etc, etc).

 

Couldnt agree more, a very fitting tribute not clouded by the red/blue issue for once.

 

Ive been with BT broadband for 4 years and no complaints here, paying about £28 a month I think for 8 meg.

 

Got a free VOIP phone and a free homehub for wireless broadband and also the BT Vision TV thing (which I havent got yet).

 

I am with sky b/band 10 meg, sky+ tv and sky phone, they are fantastic when it's actually working, been on it 8 months and still no e-mail address.

 

Oh and it is £27 a month and £10 to bt for the line.

its slower than dial up graham,feckin awful customer service. managed to cancel it so going back to virgin. i pay for 8 meg an only get 3.7 at the most. before it was just over 1 meg. i must be on the other side of the world from the exchange.
