mind you in saying that when i was serving my time a lad there had a bike made by 'orange' and it was 2k. he was really into the downhill stuff big time, bearing in mind this was 15 years ago

Think it's just the camera angle. They are both really good rigs and easy to ride. Just don't try to do flat or up on the DH one. **** me, it's heavy.

My brother is quite fortunate in that his mate is a sponsored rider and sells him kit for pennies and they've only been used a couple of times.

The forks on the DH bike were 800 quid new a couple of years back.

Crazy when you can pay half of that to get a decent set of shocks on your car.

so you actually get bikes that are purposely built to go downhill??? well i never new that, honestly. bit mad that in it, do they build them to go just up hill as well

If you added all the kit up on the DH bike at full new price it would come to nearly 3.5 grand.

He paid nothing like that, mind.

Even his jump bike would be nearly £600.

Yep. Downhill specific. Bombproof really. They weigh about 45lbs+ though.
