We have the results for Scooby and it is aspergillosis he has, we and the vet are looking at the treatment options from now

Apart from a blood encrusted drippy nose he's not too bad right now, I am panicking in case he bleeds overnight though Fingers crossed he will be OK!!

Hopefully he will respnd well to treatment and get through all this (he better as he's guest at scobylive 2008 )

 

I wont pretend to know what that means, but does this mean that he will have a prescription which will make him better/sort out the bleeding

I really hope so

 

The bleeding cannot be helped, aparrently That has to stop of its own accord

We have the antibiotics he was on anyway and a week's course of an antifungal tablet, but the vet was talking about surgery to Sonic earlier so when they have decided which procedure to follow and weather to do it or send him to university referral for it is up to them before they dicuss it further with us I guess. The vet himself wasn't there that has all the experience, the girl he saw tonight has 8 years experience and has never done this op before so would be testing for her

The bleeding should stop once the tablets kill off the bacteria and fungus that's attackng his blood vessels / cells and bone
