Ive just got a full leather interior for mine, so going to be swapping it over during the week, got a new carpet coming as well so will put that in first, then I can sell my st half leather. Not sure whether to swap the door cards over though as the st ones on mine have the chrome trim but the others are just black (although I do like it being just black)

Got a spare set of headlights so going to do the blackeyes on them, and then fit a set of hid's which are coming, can blackeye the original lights then and sell them on (already done one looks good on a white car)

Got replacement fuel pipes coming as well which will hopefully sort out the air in the fuel. Sorted out my overheating issues, car now runs within temp and the fan works as well

not keen on those wheels, may just be the colour but don't think they suit the mondy in my opinion. If the car was lowered it may set them off a bit more, or if they were gunmetal

fixed the heated seat on my passenger side today (on the half leather seat), swapped the base onto the new leather seat so that I have electrics on the passenger side as well. All works well, just need my carpet to arrive!

I was the same but they look fine now for the money for genuine wheels i was crazy not to also ive just sold my st wheels for
£350 so im well happy with that as a refirb to original finish was stupid money plus the tyres were cheap budget crap

why do you need new carpet?

the tyres are not even run in yet and i can feel the difference no loss of traction on a damp hill with my foot down

my existing carpet is dark grey and a bit mucky etc. Wanted a black carpet to match the replacement seats. Received it yesterday so going to swap it today. Had a deflation the other day on the motorway and it ruined the tyre so got a replacement yesterday. Got to change a brake disc today as well when it arrives and adjust my tracking (if I can loosen the tre)

Test fitted the hid's yesterday they all work correctly so just need to do a perm fix on them. May even give the old girl a wash when its all done!

I see what you mean about the wheels makes sense getting new when they don't really cost anything due to selling your old ones.

It amazes me how much the old ones go for, you can get an exchange set for about £299 drive in drive out in a choice of finishes from a place in blackpool.

Not heard of leaking calipers before, cheap enough on ebay or you can get the caliper repair kits

I know, never heard of it before.

Got to fit a new track rod and track rod end today, tracking has been out but the track rod end is jammed totally, heat, penetrating fluid etc and it still wont budge.

Eurocarparts let me down with 1 brake disc should have arrived yesterday on a next day delivery but they didn't have my delivery address!!! Funny that when I placed the order the delivery address was filled in as I ticked the invoice address is the same as the delivery address!

So today, got suspension to do, remove the interior and carpet and swap that over, change a fuel pipe, perm fix the hids and maybe give it a clean. Having a brew then I am going to start

hello justin, not posted on here for a while, the spring was on my transit mate thankfully, first day back off my holiday and that happened, wasnt to bad in the end though as i got a brand new one from fords for £78 and fitted for another £80 same day, cant argue with that.

I prefer your old wheels mate, love the shine on them although im glad i dont have to clean them haha

Ah right Ste -

yeah must admit I would love a fresh set of ST wheels but it was a deal not to be missed - if they would of had decent make tyres on in the first place I wouldnt of changed them

im well impressed with the grip of these new tyres still not had the traction control light on yet even in the damp they just bite and your off

heated seats are working a treat in the mornings as its sodding freezing lol

hids are fitted massive improvement, Track rod end change! what a nightmare job, talk about no access, luckily the replacement has a section that can be gripped.

Changed the front interior over, leather seats were from a pre facelift so I swapped the bases over, got to chang something on the electrics but the heated parts works a treat which is good as I am doing some mad shifts at the moment testing a new system at work

Right, well i was looking at hetting rid and going sensible but im now leaving it a few months, maybe next summer, soooooooo ive decided to upgrade my suspension, ive bought a new splitter for the front so the front looks nice now, got some tein springs and rear drop links, going to get the fronts this week. then ill take it to prosport in the new year and get them all fitted and a full geo set up. Be good to go back there as pete used to look after my old scoob and he knows his stuff
