did you only go for a week?

 

yes mate, decided for our next holiday we'll go longer as the kids were ok, only went for the week due to them to be honest, also if we do go for two weeks we will have to go earlier/later as when we left on Sunday it was hitting over 30 degrees and no matter how much cream we put on the kids they still got brown. Max had a UV suit on every day as well but the sun was so hot, their not burnt or anything but i think earlier or later would be better, especially as were now looking at Dubai again for next year

 

I know what you mean about the heat, ours got a tan, and he had a uv suit and regulary applied factor 50 cream. Talking to someone at our hotel, and he said he was there in august last year and it hit the low 50's. Mid 30's was hot enough for me!
Dont know what we are doing next year, it may be a drive to france as we are going to save up for a mega holiday, tie it in with a wedding anniversary

 

my ankle is still raggin

 

went over on it twice last week playing footy, swelled up like a balloon. So big it was call a cankle as my calf went straight to my foot

 

went hospital and had x rays but the nurse couldnt see anything. Said it is probably damaged tendons/ligaments

 

said a radiographer will check it within 10 days and if they see anything they will contact me

 

still swollen (on day 7) and it is purple along the sides and the base of my toes are now going purple as well

 

getting myself a new mountain bike in a few weeks. Think I am going for a Chris Boardman one

 

plenty of places to go near where I live for cycle rides

 

think I am going to black out my headlights as well on my car, dont know if it will look right with a red ford badge on the bonnet

 

could always get a black badge I suppose

im on my bike tomorrow as my cars in Rics having some new brakes on and a mot

need to get my callipers refirbed got a piston in each sticking

heres my bike nothing fancy but does the job

 

im undecided between a chris boardman one or a voodoo one. Other issue is I want to build it myself but the boardman will be fully assembled. Decisions, decisions

 

Wife got given her 90 day notice today, weve been waiting for it to come so it aint a suprise, she works as part of sefton council but her place is sort of self run, if they get some more funding in (likely) in the menatime then everythin will be ok, if not then she will walk away with a good few grand and ill have to support us both.

Hope its all ok as i want to go to dubai next year and also get her a Q7, cant do that if she aint working haha

 

thats a $hitter Ste, someone at work the other day was only on about someone they know who works for the council (Leeds area), said they got finished up and got redundancy, however they were re employed the following day in a "new" role! so it may not be too bad

 

I got myself a little payrise at work the other day but I was told that I will be getting a bigger one due to a new role I will be doing

 

just need the role sorting out, hopefully in my august pay will be the new rate (will have the pay rise in july)

went for £361 less then a year old

 

I was looking at that today in halfords, nice looking bike. I am torn between that one, a voodoo hoodoo and a chris boardman. Also a carrera banshee which i dismissed from pics, but after seeing it in the flesh it is a work of art. Hopefully make my mind up and I will have one next week
