just look at router stats, usually 192.168.1.254

figures to look for are attenuation and snr (both downstream)

My attenuation was 37 so made a dummy connection at the bt cable end and it improved. Then got some cat 5e cable and rewired it (better quality cable means less interference)

Attenuation is now 34 and snr raised (higher snr is better, lower attenuation is better) so one tweak later with the dmt tool, allowed nr 16mb sync. On BE tomorrow I should get over 16mb

not bad, been mad busy all day though, started working at 8.30 this morning an finished my other job at 11pm, fooking long day but its all worth it

 

same agin tomorrow as well except i finish at 8,30, but then im going straight to the gym for a nice workout followed by a sauna and jacuzzi

 

Had a busy day me-self, still the grumpy bugger aint in until lunch tom

Had an hours walk tonight up on the hill and park opposite my house and at the gym again tommorrow. need to lose a bit more before my hols

Well with the kiddy and all the work you do i'm surprised you get chance to do anything.

 

its greatgoing for a walk with the baby and the dog, the baby hold his lead now and the walk takes us about an hour longer than usual cos he stops all the time to give the dog a hug plus he only walks at a snails pace i try to get out as much as i can with them both

 

ive only got something like 6 or 7 weeks left and then i have got 3 weeks off, going to do loads with the baby then

 

Without sounding a right soft **** moments like that will be with you for the rest of your life

 

thats the thing mate, were making jakes memories for him now, he may or may not remeber these days but if he doesnt then i will tell him, we took him the safari park the other day and he loved it, he was knackered but didnt want to miss a thing
