anyone read mike rutherfords comments in auto express ???
5th-11th march issue 1002
he says that for how will production stay in the UK ?????
in the small print , tata , have written that in the "near term" it will continue !!!!
and as rutherford says, senior managers in mumbai will be asking why a "loss-making" manual worker in england earns substantially more !!!!!!
rutherford doesn't seem to have the same enthusiasm for this deal, and he writes for the ""times", the "Telegraph" and the "Independant" and is a founder member of the motorsists' association

looking at european cars , as a buyer looking for european style and pedigree buy a TATA JAGUAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
or a TATA RANGE ROVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
which could start to be made in asia !!!!!!!
in my mind it puts them in the same league as KIA , HYANDAI , SSANGYONG

i don't think it will be long before production will start moving to india
and like i said, would the mini be so popular if it was owned and built in china ?????, no it wouldn't and you know it wouldn't, same for JLR as they call it now

but they do refer to skoda's as vw's at a cheaper price, which is exactly what i'm saying!!, do you think skoda's would be as popular if made by tata , not a chance

sh1te in one way my car insurance is poo at the mo, cant get hold of them, the people who take care of the claims say that my insurers want to speak to me first, yet they havent called and i cant get hold of them, fooking sh1te, i also only get a courtesy car for 3 days and its a minimum of 3 weeks till they'll even think of making an offer
i can see me getting a bit irate on the phone tomorrow, i spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to sort stuff out yesterday, so far the only thing i wont get any money for is the baby seat, i have had to claim for everythin that was in my car nearly off my house insurance, im fecking fuming with keith michaels. not happy at all, they will also be getting a call tomorrow
for some reason mr 51st I thought I saw you today even though I dont know you, behind me was a toyota pickup with a trailer and the driver was a bearded middle aged bloke with a beany hat on, and his passenger looked the same as him

the mini was never going to be built in china
they have gauranteed us everything for 5 years, thats a better position than any of you!!!! is it not, i will place money with you know that the production WILL NOT go to india. jlr just stands for jaguar landrover

Only stayed as I was part way though the year, bit daft though as I can get it 30 per month cheaper and thats on confused Hopeyour mrsis okay and little un, I felt bad enough when my neighbour got burglednot so long back, so cant imagine how you and your family are feeling. Hopefully little un wont know too much about it though
