if it is the valves adam , i can't see it being an expensive job, the cambelt hasn't snapped and smashed its self to bits, could just be a single valve, although it would be sense to change others, £150 would see it sorted, and then cambelt etc are finished with

 

i know, but I'm going to wales in it on thursday morn, also need a gas vapouriser and control unit, thats another 220.
