sold it too cheap with the big brakes and tdo5 mate , i would bought those bits off you
yep I know, its what you do though for a quick sale.
Bodywork was immaculate as well for a 1992 car, no rust whatsoever. Despite Ste saying it was a shed, he only saw it when I first got it and I spent a lot on it, especially this year
brakes
fmic
lambada
etc
the v6 I looked at to be honest didnt feel that quick, It appeared to be running slightly rough as well, and the vaux v6 should be smooth as ice. Probably only needed plugs on he rear bank (its a manifold off job so lot of people dont bother )
Brakes were naff on the v6 as well, pads looked full on the top but I bet the rears were rubbish, massive lip on the discs as well probably a good few mm
don't think they were much different when new jay, were they
an old car like that, v6 = more money
the 2lt engine was a very good lump , run and run, parts cheap, what more could you want
all the main car manufacturers changed things after these cars, building in flaws if they were'nt serviced /run as per the manual
they weren't making enough money off those older designs
v6 over the ecotek is about 40 bhp difference only about 20 over the redtop. The ecotek is best for economy though and strangely the 8 valve is worse than all apart from the v6
