Well done jak, good luck with the hunt, and good on you for walking away
Why would a reputable dealer bother to tell porkies though, cant understand their business sense, knowing that it'll be all over the internet, again!
Get yourself over to the www.p1woc.co.uk now, and look in the for sale section, and pistonheads usually have a few to browse at

I was looking at those 3 P1's on Saturday. Also had a look at the red FQ340 but had to walk away quick as it was nicer than I expected. I bought my classic MY00 T2000 from the same place you are looking at. Had an Dekra inspection done on it first and that didn't sjow and problems so went for the car. Am happy with it and just wish I'd bought one sooner now. Whwn you were there, did you happen to notice a R plate black Civic parked outside with full body kit on and lowered as that was my old car

Something didnt sit right, and after having a look around Ive found i could probably get a better P1 else where for less money

He aslo told me a particular well known company had done the re-build, but when the paper work came out, it had infact been done by a main dealer..I couldnt understand the reason to lie, because either company were good enough to do a re-build.
