Get the guys at prosport to do an inspection before you buy. They are comprehensive and give you a full documented report afterwards.

Well done jak, good luck with the hunt, and good on you for walking away
Why would a reputable dealer bother to tell porkies though, cant understand their business sense, knowing that it'll be all over the internet, again!
Get yourself over to the www.p1woc.co.uk now, and look in the for sale section, and pistonheads usually have a few to browse at
chris.

I was looking at those 3 P1's on Saturday. Also had a look at the red FQ340 but had to walk away quick as it was nicer than I expected. I bought my classic MY00 T2000 from the same place you are looking at. Had an Dekra inspection done on it first and that didn't sjow and problems so went for the car. Am happy with it and just wish I'd bought one sooner now. Whwn you were there, did you happen to notice a R plate black Civic parked outside with full body kit on and lowered as that was my old car

i went there when i was looking around for the right car and i was interested in two of the cars in the showroom i made i quite clear that i had drove all the way from manchester and was ready to part with my money if the car/price was right but he never offered me a test drive....so a sale went out of the window

plus some of the cars in the showroom had big chips in paint work/smashed driving lamps etc etc

The particular car i was looking at, had apparently had paintwork to the front bumper(done by them) because of stonechips, but the other one had a big chunk missing on the bonnet and the other had stone chips, yet these hadnt had paint. I thought this to be a bit dodgy. He aslo told me a particular well known company had done the re-build, but when the paper work came out, it had infact been done by a main dealer..I couldnt understand the reason to lie, because either company were good enough to do a re-build.
Something didnt sit right, and after having a look around Ive found i could probably get a better P1 else where for less money

you could pick up a p1 at a main dealer for that

robinsons in rochdale had 1 in about 2-3 weeks ago i think that was £13500-£14000 it might be worth giving them a ring

I tried looking for Robinsons earlier as SillySi car went there and that was an absolute minter. If it had a squeek it was in at Prosport!
