At long last my car is booked in for its 1000 mile service! Soooo next friday, the day after the meet, it will be "freed up" for proper driving.
I couldnt resist getting some mods on from the start so im having a set of prodrive springs fitted and full geometry alignment at the same time.
On a slightly different matter, has anyone had braided brake hoses fitted to their car? If so, what type did you choose, how much did it cost to fit them and was it worth it?

beefy, by all accounts, braided hoses are the way to go, and is on my list of mods in the future. Not sure which to use though. Who's doing your service, and are you aware dai still has a set of prodrive/eibach springs for sale, not sure if they'll fit the 05 model though

Just to let you know, on the night of the meet, we are sharing the pub with a group calling themselves "Network" (I think!) This is a singles meeting group 
We shared the pub with them back in January, for the 1st official meet, and although there was plenty of space when we arrived in the car-park, when we left, it was full to the brim
So, the only space on this particular night the pub can allocate us is the one we used last month. Yes, it is a bit small, but we're not likely to get a bigger space when Network have been going there for years, and we're only there for the 3rd time this year The manageress of the Unicorn has said she has no problem having more space in the future, as long as we don't clash with the other group, although they meet every other Thursday, so it's likely we will clash again in the future.
No worries though, I'm sure we'll manage to spread out a little over the pub, which is no bad thing, just remember to circulate
One thing I would request though, WEAR YOUR SUBARU GEAR, that way, people will know your with us, and will also raise the profile of the club. It'll look great in pictures too, and until we get the t-shirts sorted, we'll just have to do with subaru stuff
See you all next thursday, get there early, and park tight

Half an hour with us then off to the singles club???
Would have thought it would have been a swingers club being from round that area.
More serious note, seen in M.E.N that a 63 yr old mugged for Subaru in Hazel Grove. Broke his arm when wouldn't give keys.
