Typical NL headline from PSL which signifies nothing because he does not tell the rest of the story.

Purely another specious excuse to start a thread!

Quote:-

"The term troll is highly subjective. Some readers may characterize a post as trolling, while others may regard the same post as a legitimate contribution to the discussion, even if controversial. The term is often used to discredit an opposing position, or its proponent, by argument ad hominem. Likewise, calling someone a troll makes assumptions about a writer's motives that may be incorrect"

So if we look at statistics and take them at face value :

We all earn more than we used to, but actually earn less.
We all have more savings than we used to, but actually have less.
Our houses are worth loads more, but have been repossessed.
We all have secure jobs, but have been made redundant.
We're all financially more stable, but have been declared bankrupt.

This is the problem with stats - you ( and politicians in particular ) can make them say pretty much whatever you want to support the point you are trying to make.

By better of you must justy mean financially, well i do not feel or indeed seem better off!

I understand Johnny Prescott was - until they caught him fiddling his council tax

I also understand that serious crime is also on the up
It is a postcode lottery for hospital treatment
Sex offenders are able to work in our schools - by that i mean the ones who where in place after the changes brought about because that apparently muisguided and uncaring woman Hewitt had to do so something AFTER the Police and than the media bought it to our attention.

Oh how much beter off i feel now!

'Extended the Race Relations Act so that all public bodies and functions now have a duty to promote race equality '
Yep the Police really kicked some butt on behalf of the govenrment reagding the 'cartoon' protests!

'Five, six and seven-year-olds in class sizes of 30 or less'
and maybe a sex offender ot two teaching them!

'Halved maximum waiting times for NHS operations'
Moved the goalposts and masaged the figures

Banned handguns
PRICELESS - From where?!?, not the streets and certianly not from the criminals who use them you muppet - just honest people who used to be members of gunclubs. Armed crime down is it?

Equalised the age of consent for gay men
A subject close to your heart

'Cut overall crime by 30 per cent'
Speeding maybe
Gun crime, Assault, murder, robbery, rape - serious crime?
SHOW ME THE MONEY (proof) and have a look at http://www.lse.co.uk/ShowStory.asp?s..._crime_figures
not just NL's spin figures

'Written off up to 100 per cent of debt owed by poorest counties'
And fecked over our own disabled people
http://www.lse.co.uk/ShowStory.asp?s...20609A&catid=1

'Local government funding has increased by a third in real terms'
My council tax increases around 8-10% per year to pay for this does it not services not getting any better. NBC now laying off staff left right and centre to save money.

Also lied and took us into the war with Iraq under false pretences
Employed dodgy and maybe dishonest politicians in his cabinate, twice in some cases!

Northampton General has a £2m shortfall and has closed several wards and cancelled operations - bad management maybe but the government seems happy for this to happen and the people affected are the same people who pay for the NHS and the service they do not get.

Bored now gonna get a cuppa!

4. Record police numbers in England and WalesAnd still serious crime is rising
5. Cut overall crime by 30 per cent Except rape, robbery, handgun, murder assault, and burglary
6. Record levels of literacy and numeracy in schools Had to delay publication of maths and english ks3 this year, they were so bad it would have sunk their school so-called reforms
7. Best-ever primary school results Dumbed down tests
8. Funding for every pupil in England to double (since 1997) by 2007-08 announced the same funding increase THREE times, each time adding it on so it looks like three times as much.
9. Lowest unemployment for 29 years Measured by whose figures? Does it count the youth who are "lost" cos they "aren't old enough to be unemployed"? Or those on bull**** courses which they can never finish due to no funding? And watch it rise now the Poles etc are here. Try telling MY lad and his mates about your Lying Labour unemployment, then, after you pick yourself up, you can go to one of the hospitals that MIGHT have space for you
10. Written off up to 100 per cent of debt owed by poorest counties Very good....but charity begins at home. Do summat for OUR poor, our REAL umemployed, our pensioners struggling to meet 10% council tax increases year on year, and a probable heating bill increase of over 25% this year alone, after a 3% pension increase....but hey, they only fought for our freedom, what do THEY matter!

TERRIBLE!!! You're right, it fekkin IS...when you see the truth behind the NL spin!

Pete

I'm not even gonna bother with the rest of your lying labour spin, you moron.
