I know it's early, just to remind you all NOT to forget all of you car papers. You will need them if you get pulled over by the police.

Is this something to do with travel insurance? Is this a requirement then?

No you have not You are correct

Go to your local post office & Ask for a Form E111

Fill it in & In return you will revcieve a credit card type thing in return , This is for your Health cover & you will need to show it to the GP if you have an accident whilst in the EU

The E111 Form is free & So is the card in return

You have to produce this, in case you have an accident, and get taken to hospital or need medical help. Hi - Vis jackets are also required, I know it might sound daft but I had a puncture on the way back and changing a wheel on the road side is not one of my fondest memories.

Make sure you have got plenty of money on your c / card because if you come off at "The Ring" ,it will cost you dearly........trust me

I am sure we will all meet up nearer the time to swop phone no's, directions etc.

Cookstar, just take your time and drive within YOUR limits and everything will be ok Far too many people have come off trying to keep up with the regulars / locals. The regulars, who have driven the track many times, have an advantage which is...................... they know where they are going

The E111 card doesnot exist anymore, it has been replaced by the "European Health Insurance card (EHIC))

The checklist is slowly being ticked off
