Who's favoured for breakdown/recovery btw ? ... I need to renew just before we go anyway and I'll need full european cover this year ...

AA 5-Star excludes the Ring by name in its European Breakdown Cover Terms and Conditions:

What we will not cover
8: The cover is not available to vehicles which are overloaded, used in
rallying, off-road driving or in the Nürburgring or for motorsports.

Green Flag states that they now do not cover "de-restricted toll roads" - same meaning as car insurance companies.

So guess RAC is the best bet, or ADAC the German firm.

 

Actually, MoreThan looks like a shout at the moment .....

no mention of destricted toll roads or other guff that might be applicable .

Bought my spare headlights bulbs - Super blue tech only 60% brighter than standard halogen bulbs best I put the beam deflectors on the car

 

Nooooo blind them all and get flashed by everyone, the french love it

 

I don't know what bulbs are in the car at the moment, but people flash me enough in this country Then I flash them back to show the main beams aren't on

Look what happens when I am not here, this thread moves to the second page Now we can start to get ready for the 1st trip of the year Nev, we could try the Pizza place in Daun . So I am on this desert island with another 60 guests, while i am walking around i hear in the distant a shout of "MADDOG" sunstroke me thinks but no, it is a guy i know from the Ring a very small world. He was there a couple of weeks ago and said the weather was perfect Catch up with all the gossip soon
