Yes, it's particularly uncouth and quite distressing to many females.

People are allowed opinions btw. If Kiwi finds homosexuality unsettling then so what. I'd say if you asked most blokes 'down the pub' what they thought they would give similar answers.

I don't think anyone who is secure in their own sexuality or confident about the person they are, has strong feelings about what other people may or may not do. I believe to have such strong feelings, the feelings must be there to try and repress something.

I'm all for opinions and freedom of speech, after all, we are civilised, but think irrational and bigoted opinions should be kept quiet. Otherwise where would we be?

I think Kiwi is on a wind-up, anyway......

I don't believe that at all, as I said the Freudian view of things has been discredited.

And besides this is a discussion, centred towards a certain topic so any opinions here will probably be more polarised than in real life.

Not when other people get wound up so easily, leave a smiley off and there are half a dozen angry replies by the time the page refreshes.

Idiots.

This is why he will "get away" with it. Any debate about him lieing - gets lost in the irrelevant discussion about his sexuality and gay attitudes in general.

I dont care if he prefers men to women or a bit of both. I do care that when asked a straight question he lied. And then trys to pass it off as " a challenge he has overcome" or other bollox.

It is undeniable that some people develop to have homosexual feelings. If they want to live together etc then that is up to them, it has been happening from time immemorial and there is no need to make a song and a dance about it, just get on with it and keep it to yourself if that is what you want.

I dont see however why they should get any special privileges. And all this civil partnership affair to my mind is more than faintly ridiculous. Even more so when it is felt in some quarters that the word "marriage" might offend homosexuals! I do decry the undermining of normal married life and a proper family life for children to grow up in. This is getting worse and we are seeing the bad effects of that now.

I can understand KiwiGT's point of view about unnatural sexual practices. The thought of sodomy between any pair of individuals seems pretty disgusting to me, and and also leads to all kinds of trouble as we have seen. If homosexuals want to do that, it is up to them, they know the risks well enough. I don't think it is anything to shout about off the rooftops though.

The worst effect of all this though is the overall drop in moral standards that is encouraged by these modern attitudes. This is a bad thing and will only get worse of course. The end product of all this is the death of civilisation and we are seeing the obvious signs of this in the behaviour of so many these days.

Don't understand what you are getting at DazW, and how do you know what books I kike?

My post was based on natural law and civilised behaviour without any religious connotations whatsoever. Best to understand the post before you criticise.

Well, you know what I mean given the Liberals seem to have a long history from Gladstone through to Thorpe and Ashdown, not to mention the current crop, of having sexual skeletons in the cupboard.

Anyway, unless I'm missing something he's had relationships with both men and women which would make him bi-sexual not gay, surely?
