pretty modest amount for me, as fellow ScoobyNet'rs and ebay bargains have helped keep costs down
Its like the Noel Edmonds Scooby Swap Shop
I worked out the other day I have spent approx £1300

2003 WRX
My 2003 WRX
$21,000 U.S. for the car
$15,000 U.S. for the mods
I figure about another $15,000 to finish

PSLewis - I'm sure beaded seat covers, Des O'Connor CD's, cushions for the back parcel shelf and string back driving gloves all technically count as mods
I think my total spend is around £150 and that was just swapping the speakers front and back for some half decent ones, but despite this, my car has ( among other things ) :
Prodrive suspension
Prodrive spoiler
17" alloys
Greddy boost controller and gauges
Alpine CD player and multi changer
STi strut braces front and back
STi intercooler
STi rear lights, clear side indicators
Graham Goode dumpvalve
Scoobysport decat exhaust
Uprated Discs
Samco hoses, alloy water and oil bottles and various other under the engine bits.
God bless previous owners who do all the modding for you !

Hummm, i have never stopped to work this out before, but i bought the car for £13,000 a little over 3 years ago, MY00 UK wagon .... and in that time have spent around £5000 on mods!
I could deduct a bit from that though as the brake discs and pads needed changing anyway, i just chose to upgrade.

Interesting results so far...didn't think there would be such a high percentage in the top bracket! As for me I may well be popping my modding cherry in the next few days with an STi backbox off ebay - £45 max!
