Thanks for that mate, I'd never heard of these guys before
Unfortunately they don't stock Silkolene but they do have Motul 300V and Millers in stock, I might consider the Motul although Apex say they are due some Silkolene in this week some time, wait and see I spose.

Yes Monkey200 it is the M621 Jct, 1st left off the roundabout and the Brickworks is on your right, I think you have to get in the outside lane and turn off right before you pass it though (Once you have turned off the roundabout that is), I will be there @ 7am to meet up with Corradoboy also.

Monkey, you can either stop off at the Brickworks to meet with us Leeds lads, or just carry straight on the M62 to Ferrybridge services for 7.30am.

Got some Millers triple ester fully synth 5W40 from Low Kost today. Not Silko, but still well respected so it'll do.

If anyone needs any tyres, I have 2 Hankook Ventus K104 205/45/17 that have only covered 300 miles. Will let them go for £40 each, £70 the pair.

donaldmac, we're leaving Ferrybridge at 7.30-7.45am, calling in Scunny for Optimax/99RON and will hopefully be at Blyton by 8.30-9am.

Thanks for the kind offers guys. I'm hoping someone who's going to the SMACS doo tomorrow night will take some of it for me then. Might just go with the RE070's on and let them do the full day, but they're my summer wheels and I don't wanna spoil them Decisions, decisions. The Toyo's might take a beating though

The guy who may be viewing the car tomorrow wanted to know if it had ever been tracked or driven hard ROTFPMSL

I'm assuming you said..
'You bet, and I got within a few secs of the Blyton track record'

and

'Define hard.... It's all relative mate.. But have you seen me around the Dales? If you think I'm going up there with my mates from the club to only do the national speed limit and to look at the moorland vegetation then you're a bigger fool than I thought and I'm adding 2K to the price.....'

Seriously though... Anyone buying a scoob HAS to know it's been driven hard.. But if it's been looked after properly, like yours has, then driving it hard
is no problem. I'd more likely shy away from some one saying 'No mate, never tracked or driven hard......', cos they'd be lying, see?

When Daz bought the Prodrive, he understood that it'd been looked after well. Proper oil changes at a third or half reccomended distance.. Brakes looked after and properly sorted and cherished.... absolutley nothing wrong with driving them hard... surely that's why you buy them?????

I'm more than happy to meet up at some point, just say when and where. Would also like to know a good filling up place.

BBQ went on at lunch time last year, nobody was interested in standing around eating bacon butties in the morning, they were all too keen to get out on the track

We will be stopping off at the local Shell on the way for those wanting to fill with Optimax and there was talk earlier in the thread about there being a Tesco nearby that sells 99RON, not sure if it's on the way though

It's right on our route, so we may as well have 99 instead of 98.5RON

Thanks Mick, is there a number to contact them to just make sure? Unless you are certain of course

Shell station locator below, type blyton, tick optimax and away you go.

The helmets are a definate, but I think they have IRO 20, so sharing may be necessary. We use the Shell every time, but may try the 99RON for a change
