Aswell as the usual thanks being offered to Dave for the organisation, I'd like to add a little bit of praise for Sean (Al's son) For those who don't know him, he's the young chap that dutifully stood by the oil drum in his viz-vest and made sure everyone got their 'Track Tokens' handed out. IIRC he's been to every one of these track days and has had the same role at each.
Cheers Sean. We'll all buy you a pint (when you're old enough)
...or your Dad's not looking

Who's is the BBQ? Simon?
Gas bottle? Dave?
...and Mick's trolley jack (TY )
All still in the van. Let me know how to get them to you guys.

Echo the above, many thanks Shaun. Al, we'll have a chat on thursday
Andy, the BBQ is Simons, and the gas ain't much use to me without anything gas powered to use it with, so let Simon have that too.

I would like to echo everyone's thanks for a great day. Particular thanks to Alan & Dave and everyone else who organised and ran the day.
Sorry to Sonic Dave for not being able to lend you the trolley jack as we were leaving as we had already burried it in the other car for the journey home
Pictures are excellent and thanks to all the photographers for braving the cold wind....
However, my one lasting memory will be the sight of Dazza (with the pink hat amongst other things!!) squating over half a road cone with his *** hanging out as I rounded the long final hairpin!!!

It is with immesurable sadness I must tell you that Tony (Tonyclio182) who attended this track-day in his Black Renault Clio 182 was killed yesterday
whilst out on his Motorbike on a run in North Yorkshire.
He was only 20.
Tony had attended all the NBO's with us and been to numerous scoobyshootouts, totb's,rolling road days etc and had passengered or enthusiastically driven on all the WYIOC Blyton trackdays as a genuine Subaru fan and Car/Bike nut.
I feel very fortunate to have known him and can honestly say that the world is a poorer place without his enthusiasm and cheeful nature
(In many years I never saw him in anything other than a good mood). His generousity was unlike anyone else I've ever met (& that's saying
something).
If anyone has any pictures of Tony and/or the Clio from Blyton would they be kind enough to e-mail them to me on scoobychaps at aol.com (for 'at' read @).

From myself, and on behalf of the club may I express my sadness at this news. All our sympathies go out to his family at this sad time. If there is anything else I or the club can possibly offer then please feel free to ask.

Steve. Many thanks for passing this on. I'm sure it would have been only a matter of time before we'd got to know him like you did. I'd spoken to him briefly a few times and shared a laugh or two....
Please pass on mine and the clubs condolances and warmest regards to his family and friends... As Dave succinctly said, if thyere's anything we can do... just ask.
Sad indeed...

Damn...I was parked next to him in the pit lane, didn't know him at all but had a couple of chats that day as I work for Renault and we shared a love of Scoobs, please give my condolances to his family also...

Very sad news. I spoke to Tony a couple ot times at the 2005 Blyton track days as did my mate Kenji, who was also in a Clio. He seemed like a top bloke and very enthusiastic about his cars as well. A shame I never got chance to speak to him at the latest Blyton.
Both myself and Kenji would like to pass on our condolances to his family.
Tony was generous enough to take Kenji out for a few passanger laps in his Clio 182 at the April 05 Blyton, an enjoyable experience which Kenji is still extremely grateful for.
I have a few pics of Tony in action in his Clio which I will email later today.
Again, very sad news.

i was shocked when jon told me the sad news.
tony took me out in his clio for a few laps which i thought were fantastic.tony approached me and offered to take me round as he realised i had a clio, too. this kind generosity impressed me and in the short period that i spoke to him i liked him.
all my thoughts are with his family...

Just to make everyone aware, I arrange for some flowers to be sent on behalf of the club to Tony's funeral.
RIP.

Thank you for making the effort & please pass on our thanks to all the wyioc.
Tony's younger brother said he might like to attend future meets/events (He was at the last NBO with us). SSO might be too soon for him & Lyndon as it'll be strange if Tony's not at something like that with us but we'll see how they both feel.
Once again thanks.
