It's not an STi...i just made a joke regarding all that This-front-end-is-better-than-this-end...As long as it makes you happy it's so unimportant how front end looks like...

Regarding power...well, as i have AVC-R and i set it up to 90% up to 3k rpm i used to hit 1,6b in 4th if i floor it at 2k rpm...and one day i got err 45 (pressure sensor)...than i turned AVC-R off and got back to pure ECU controled map and still have that error 45 after i floor it few times...so i dont know what power i have now...i think by butt dyno that my torque is up but not so much power...i'll take some pictures of my incar comp that meassures torque and power so u can see...

Np trails...all is ok

but...meaning to ask something for some time and i forget it...well, question is for all WRX Wagoners here (->2000)...What is your rpm limit in 5th gear ?

For example...

This is my old 96 wagon...

as you can see...260kmh doing @ 6400rpm

And in my 98 wagon i'am doing 245kmh @ 5600rpm and no way i can run it higher rpm's in 5th...

Anyone have some experience to share regarding this? (i think i saw somewhere that wagons have lower rpm limit than sedans but not sure about that)...

fastest i've been is 155 with around 2k rpm left to go...dosen't seem to be any problem with it reving in 5th. maybe yours has a weird top gear rev limiter, is that even possible?

Default Bike rack?

Does anyone know, can i fit a normal bike rack on my wagon? I have a normal one and also a 'special' one we had for our Vectra which had a spoiler so it fitted over. Will either of these fit do you know? And also, when we used to use the one on the vectra it scratched the car a bit, any way to avoid this with my scooby?

has it been mapped for torque rather than bhp then CeeDee, seems a bit low power for that HUGE amount of torque?

great keyring btw

It's PE Phase 1 map for TD04 but i have TD05FE in it and AVC-R boost controled for midrange torque rather than high rev...

keyreing just suits her

I'm in general satisfied with car as it is, i dont pursuade bhp as such...if u want adrenaline to go fast buy yourself a bike couse car will never be like it...imho that is...

This is my daily driver and as such i think it looks ok and goes well in straight same as around bands and than some...i like her

fmic and TD05 18g are next on my purchase list...well after i deal with my shot clutch (maybe a 6spd or PPG gear set as well)

i have two pot 03 wrx rear calipers and am in the proccess of finding some 325mm discs for my scoobysport Brembo's-both of which are sitting on my kitchen table-so should really fit them first

agree with the bike comment...i'm not brave enough to own a bike anymore, i've not riden on the road in this country for over 10 years

Kev, have a look here http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm it will answer all your questions

Your car is 208bhp iirc and 220 to a tank is around average for an unmodified car

Hi all,

the smiles wagon is SOLD !!!!!

....Dont know whether to be or

I feel like crying as we are now now wagonless and very sad to see it go, but then on the other hand happy to have sold it so quick so i can seriously search for the STI Wagon now that we have funds in the bank

The thing that shocked me was how quick we sold it

We have talked of selling it but never got around to doing it, so last night decided to throw it on ebay for the weekend see what interest there was. I put in for a reserve of 11k with a 99p starting bid and a buy it now price of 12k ... woke up this morning to check on it and it said this item is no longer available - bought with buy it now

Somebody bought it this morning with buy it now for 12k

Been chatting to the guy this morning and he is bringing cash down Tuesday for it

I am reserving my excitement incase its a timewaster, he has 100% feedback and sounded very genuine on phone, as he said he just sold his Saloon as was not pratical with new baby and so was looking for a wagon. Well that was his story anyway so sounded pretty genuine.

We'll wait and see, everything is crossed
