bank holiday mods
Seeing as the suns been out I thought I would do some things that needed doing on the wagon
first up, de-spotted.
There not back but a dark antharacite
Repainted side markers same colour to match new covers.
Added new smoke side repeaters
Putting it all together a before and after, also treated to a meguiars full 3 stage detail
Before:
After:
Think it needs some of the dark headlights and sidelights I have seen on scoobyworld, then get rid of the ginger wheels for anthracite rotas or rays
Then fitted my new Carbon bits, alternator cover, slam panel, fuse box cover
need to add some samcos and anybody know where to get something to dress up battery, pref in carbon

Hi,
Anyone here have a rear bumper protection to avoid scratches when loading/unloading their SWs??
My main problem is the dog, and me being a bit clumsy every now and then!
It would be great to see any solutions (apart from the obvious! )
Ta

I'm sure I set you a PM with accomodation stuff, maybe I forgot, apologies .
Where in the county are you coming from. The south coast wagon squadron (4 of us) have accomodation booked at The Vintage Hotel at Scotch Corner for saturday and sunday night. You could give them a call see if they have any rooms left, if not you have some other choices, we used the Travelodge Southbound services last year. The southbound one is best as its not actually southbound at all, its actually on the scotch corner roundabout so handy as its accesible north and south. and is walking distance from the vintage hotel (maps says its 150 yds From roundabout)

Travelodge - Scotch Corner A1 Southbound hotel information

We are also having a 'Wagon Banquet' (well its just a meal really) at the vintage hotel as we did last year, should be about 8-10 of us, you are more than welcome to join us if yuou like, seating about 7.30.

can members squash this
The load liner types are defined as follows.
92>96 have trays in rear and speakers in rear load area
97> are wider cover with rear speakers in rear door cards.
please clarify that this statement is true.
I've been supplied a 92-96 rear load cover but the owner believes that it is for a later model 97>

just to clear the mis-understanding
of the two types of load covers available for classic wagons.
92>96 have trays in rear and speakers in rear load area
97> are wider cover with rear speakers in rear door cards.
so we both understand exactly what was sent
The delay of 3weeks = 1week for delivery, 1 week for my car coming out the body shop, 1 week waiting for the ban to be dropped. Now your back we can continue.
