Gave 244bhp @ 1.1 bar (Well Lane - before FCD was fitted), now running up to 1.35- 1.4 bar (depending on the fuel and if I've got any NF in the tank), so I'm guessing a bit more now. Certainly feels quicker)

Ran 13.7 at Scooby Shootout. Not that quick, but certainly not the slowest on the day

Planned for Feb:

7Kg flywheel - bought and ready to be fitted
Exedy "Stage 1" clutch - as above
TD04H turbo - Should get this sorted in Feb
Ported headers - as per turbo
440 cc injectors - will know tomorrow if I've got them.

Hopefully should be a bit quicker after that lot.

 

sounds good, what sort of power are you aiming for? The lightened fly wheel will make a big difference, turbo will spool up 500rpm quicker and the car will be a bit more free reving...i prefer the way mine drives with a lightened fly wheel anyway!

Trails.......With those mods, I'd guess at about 270....maybe a bit more.

I'd like 300, but I think I'd be pushing it to get that. I read the "300bhp on a budget" from Conrad Bradley and saw that he changed quite a lot of parts and spent quite a bit of cash, but only just cracked 300.

Unfortunately I bought a MY98 and it's a bugger to tune. Limited options for the ECU. If I'd known anything about Scoobs before I'd bought, I'd have waited for a MY99.

Whose going to be the first with an 06 'JapsEye' Wagon

 

i'm running around 270\270 at the mo, but want to push it to around 300\300 with bigger turbo, fuel pump and injectors...have to replace the clutch first tho, my standard one won't allow me to side step the clutch without slipping at this state of tune. i'm considering a 6spd jap box too as i've already had this one rebuilt once and 4\5 are a bit wobbly already.
