NBO 2006 Wagon Stand Update
##NBO 2006 Wagon Corner Update##
Its been a manix few days up till the official NBO (Northern Big One) thread whent live
We now have the first wave of wagons booked in for the ##Wagon Corner## under the Club Stand name of #ScoobyWagons#
Any other wagons that want a place on the stand please let us know its a first come first served basis, i believe there are about 8 spaces left.
As Lord Harding pointed out things are shaping up quite nicely and things are coming together.
I will update with details as we work through them, once we get the final list of wagons we can work on a parking plan for the cars, so you all know your spot on the day
Some things on the to do list so far
1/ Wagon Stand T-shirts - Mrs smiles working in these
2/ flags for stand - In hand
3/ flag pole / posts - anyone got anything suitable
4/ blue and yellow bunting for stand - found a place to source this from
5/ Posts or sticks for stand to tie bunting too - some garden cane as suggested by lord harding ...unless anybody got anything better/ more suitable
6/ Banner for the stand - anyone got any contacts, know where to get one printed
7/ Marquee/ gazebo - Again anyone got anything suitable
8/ picnic tables/ chairs - guess we can all bring our own
9/ Car specs printed - Granby (Specs Manager)
10/ any other ideas for stand ... we want to win best club stand

99 signed up for thew NBO allready in 48 hours 50 up on last year allready
i will look at my contacts for flag poles
if everyone can fetch a couple of chairs it will be great for the tent
As anyone a small patio table ?
can a computer man print out some photos of wagons ?

... and looks like this thread I started has taken off .... 412 posts and not far off 8000 view since middle of january says there's a small army of dedicated wagoners out there

I am trying to arrange for some wagon accomodation for those of us travelling half way up the country, arrive saturday afternoon evening, check in B&B or hotel, wagoners meet and go out for a bite to eat and a natter.... then get up and beat the Salon's to the entrance in the morning
