What you should be worrying about is this - I have had my life, lived my life and not been couped up with a PC (as they didn't exsist when I was your ages).................. the REAL issue is why someone would be on here if they are in their 20's and 30's - now, that is sad I'll grant you that!

true colours now

if as you state you only use the scoob for the weekly shopping run and the odd blast, you should be quite capable of knowing on average how many miles that is. And thats basic maths!

given that your supposed to be of Engineer status, i,m surprised that basic question gives you problems.

I can give the average milage of all 3 cars in our household, along with total annual milage for each, and average weekly/ bi weekly fuel consumption.

cant be much of a proffesional if you have to resort to swearing at people when the questions keep coming.

The car is 5 years and 8 months old, it has covered 65,000 miles - even a lesser mortal like yourself can work the average mileage out!

I have supplied you with the information you requested .... you have done nothing with it - will you be, or was it just your usual verbal diarrhoea??

dosent wash,

imagine if ypu presented that sort of data for one of your so called nuke projects, you,d be laughed out of the place.

The more you profess to be an Engineer, the more i doubt your credibility.

if you want to give fudged figues and half cocked statements, thats your call.

but best of the best give it a rest... tea boy prehaps.

Whatever ...... you asked for the info. - I have supplied it - now, idiot, tell me what you have done with it and can it explain why my pads have lasted for 65,000miles??

If not, shut up!

Don't bother applying at AWE ..... your application would not get past the paper sift - you are a few notches below the intellectual level that we are looking for ................ we do, however, always have a need for cleaners (can you read the instructions on a detergent bottle better than you can a post on a thread?????????? ... I doubt we could even use you to clean my office!!! )

Oh dear you really dont cope under pressure do you Pete

for your information, your figures, which dont stack up btw

65000 miles over 68 months

650000/68 = 955 miles a month

955*12 = 11460 per year

11460/52 = 220pw

hardly the odd blast/ shopping trip and to and from work, + the Mx 5 for the blasts??

basic average miles,

re your quote at the top of the post, Since when where you qualified to judge an application, without knowing the candidates abilitys, and without seeing his / her cv??. making assumptions again

glad you actually put it into print, it could make an interesting discussion point, when i have my interview

42psi? That is well over the manufacturers recommedations and over inflated tyres. I only use 40psi on track days and that is just to protect the shoulders.

What you are driving is a very unroadworthy car and if you were to have an accident the insurance inspector would take a very dim view of the state of your tyres.

We throw out applications at the paper sift if they spell ABILITIES wrong! ............ it shows a certain stupidity, you know how it is - the best don't get it wrong like that .. and we want the best, you fall a long way short!

Do you name yourself Mart360 because you take it up the rear?? Just interested, as they will ask you that at the Interview I may just allow you to attend (got to be worth seeing what a jerk looks like!! and a Gay one at that!! )

It's the time of the month

AND Mart, or as he used to Anally call himself,..... 'M' ...... have a long, long history of abusing each other (in CyberSpace I hasten to add) - I am sure he fancies me something chronic!!

He has me on his VIP list and tells everyone else to put me on their Ignore List ..... just so he can have me all to himself

Looks like your the one talking out of your backside again Pete.

If you were so one the pulse as you claim, you would know that your tree hugging leftie if its trendy i'll make it legal leader, activly encourages enquiries form ethnic minorities, ethnic faith. same gender, and alternative gender applicants.

And the question you reckon you/ they will ask, wouldnt even get to thought.

Human rights you know, as you keep hoisting your own petard.

PSLewis, more like walter mitty

thinking about it, it would be a pleasure for you to be at the interview, your posts and comments would make for interesting discussion amongst your peers, and the best of the best.

Mart

anyway this post has gone on long enough, your answers have drifted from discussion to sarcasm & schoolboy digs and chav swearing.

I know i might get some stick for this 8-) but... if u want to drive slowly to prolong the tyres brakes etc... why on earth buy a high performance saloon such as an Impreza turbo... would a Vectra gls not be a better choice *-) no offence folks!

he's obviously not slowing down for corners - both mysteries solved, albeit with a slightly unbelievable explanation.

I think this has gotten out of control here... this discussion was created to get everyones feedback about a subaru which has done 65,000 miles without needing new brake pads... not to take swipes at each others age/cars/cars modifcations/drivers abilities/peoples intelect or anything other than the cars brake pads! so I think everyone should take a step back and realise that this isnt solving anything

MUST BE 100% NO OTHER than Andy Forrest.

Andy Forrest Perormance are in Port Seton. No one better.

Also, there are hundreds of threads like this - all involving PSLEWIS - look at his post count - he specialises in "trolling"
