I am destined not to go on this trip, my clutch went today and i had to coast her home. Grrrrrrrr

I had a feeling it was slipping last week when i pulled out of a junction quite quickly, well full anchors actually, the revs threw up and the engine speed didn't. In all the cars i have owned i have never had one go and id not know the telling signs.

At this moment in time i do not have a clutch and i think it is unlikely i will be going.

It is really annoying as i had just sorted the Ferry out and got my German Marks from the bank and my missus had managed to wangle the W/E off.

I suppose i could take my Ford Ka, but it really would not be the same.

I have cancelled the Ferry, Thanks Kim (Scoobynet), but kept the Marks, just in case.

I am gonna go shopping for an AP clutch, but i doubt i will be able to get it delivered and fitted for Friday.

I have now got my clutch but it won't be fitted until Friday, so no trip for me.

One last bit of bad luck 3 screws in my front tyre left on the floor by the boat builder next door.

On the brightside next trip i will have my suspension fitted, clutch that works, and no other problems.
