Rich,

When you say "Harj is organising it", I take it that you mean "organise" in the loosest sense of the word?! He couldn't organise a sh*g in a whorehouse!

Question

Quick question, do I need travel insurance (not track) for theft, hospital and death etc?

Sorry if it's been done before.

Definately!

Primarily for medical / hospital expenses... If you have a ding the Ring staff will call an Air Ambulance at the drop of a hat, and either you or your insurers pay for it.

Doubt if its covered on Car insurance.

James.

Floyd,

Harj mentioned speaking to your Credit Card company. MBNA will cover me for £15 for the trip. This provides £5m of medical expense cover and various other things.

Somebody else mentioned you can buy cover with the ferry ticket for around £10.

Chris.

Hi Harj

Mark here I met you and Simon at Tyres Northampton the other day.

Sorry to mess you around but my misses is no longer coming as we cannot get anyone to baby sit our kittens.

I am still coming but only till the 14th. Would it be possible to change my double room to a room with two twin beds as I may still bring a mate with me.

If this is not possible because all the rooms are taken don't worry I will just keep the double.

Thanks

Mark

Harj F**K it don't worry about the double room I will keep it..

I'm probably going to be the last to arrive...Fri morning (getting the late Thursday ferry- work and all). Is everyone going to be hitting the ring early on Friday morning to get as many laps in as possible before it gets too busy? I'm stocked up with octaine booster and ready to whoop some Porsche ****. I've got 10 million pounds medical travel insurance - just incase my whiplash can only be treated in Australia

Angry

I am having a nightmare last few days, not a happy bunny at all.

My turbo is bleedin fooked up big style, just wont hold boost above 4000rpm. Seems its a manufacturing fault, it wont fail, it just produces crap boost, bad tolerences in the exhaust housing i think. So hope i can get this sorted by wednesday.

I have a bad headache, i need a beer.

Doing my best to get this sorted out quickly. Ahhhhhhhhhhh

whatever happens i'll be there, if i cant get it sorted then i am gonna be down to about 250BHP which is pants!

frustrated of manchester!

Thanks sal.

after a major discusion with the turbo people (like 2, 45 minute conversations) they have agreed to make me a new turbo.

Thats being picked up tomorow for me to install wednesday night.

I recon i will be back up and running by around 1am thursday morning, gotta leave for dover at 5am so i am gonna be knackered!

Fingers and toes crossed this fixes my problems, if it doesnt i am buggered if i know whats wrong.

John,

Sorry to hear your news. I know exactly how you feel. I hope that we both get things sorted in time. If you need to borrow a turbo, actuator or whatever, let me know and I'll have a word with someone who may be able to help. I know that he has a working T4 sitting in a box. If that's too big, he probably has whatever came as standard on a Sapphire Cosworth lying around too.

Harj,

I hope that means that you've just woken up as opposed to thinking of going to bed within the next hour or 3. You wouldn't want to stop the convoy just so that you can have a quick nap. It was bad enough with Stef's problem last year.
