To all those going at Easter!

The Hotel that I have booked everyone into are fully booked for single rooms, I have nominated people to the 6 Single Rooms they can give us, they can only offer us Double Rooms but with 2 Single Beds so 2 People to a room. These rooms come with Mini Bar, En Suitte, Cable TV etc etc. Just means you have to split the cost of a double room with someone else.

Could you please tell me who you would like to share with as rooms are at a premium at Easter, I need to send them a fax with who's sharing with who?

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Harj...

So who are the lucky punters who get singles then so people can work who has to share?

Alternatively, what's the different in price between a single and double so the really rich can live in comfort?! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Chris.

harj 07 March 2001 08:12 AM

Most the Singles have been given to the single ladies who are travelling with us, the cost of a double is around £40 to double the price of a single.

Rich_R 07 March 2001 08:59 AM

I'll have a double then Harj (if they've got enough rooms) - a mate of mine might be coming with his R1 so he can crash in my room.

Cheers
Rich

I'll take a double room on my own then Harj, although I'd take a single if one becomes available as I'm a tight git. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Do they show anything decent on the Cable TV? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

ChrisB - No German TV is CR4P with a capital CR4P but Harj is right they are a bit more open minded than the nice people in the UK that say what can and can't be watched, I mean when we get shower gel adverts we have naked women running down tropical beaches, or actually showering without a swimming costume on etc. but don't take my word for it, judge for yourself, just one question though surely your not coming all the way to Germany to watch the telly R U?

Nope. Going to ride round one of the worlds top circuits (anyone for Bathurst?) and sample the German beer with some good people http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Aero 09 March 2001 12:27 AM

Does anyone know of a faithful representation of the Nurburg Ring in a race simulator?

I've already ordered Grand Prix Ledgends 67, just looking for *some* orientation before we get there.

Cheers.

Shaun,

Shame about your Dad!! I bet you still haven't let him in on the joke! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Anyway, the passport office has now mislaid my application for a new passport! I'm gonna have to go through all that **** again, and had better do it asap. Bummer http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Matt

MattOz 09 March 2001 04:25 PM

All,

If you need someone to sit next to you and give a bit of guidance, I'll be more than happy to do it. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Now I'm not claiming to be an expert, far from it, but I have a pretty fair idea of where things go, and more importantly where you need to lift, and where you don't.

Reckon that Harj might agree with that. Also, I have no problem taking 3 other people in the Beemer if they want to see what it's like before going out themselves.

Cheers

Matt

Mkhan 09 March 2001 06:32 PM

Thanks Matt I might take you up on your offer as I have never been out there before... Always nice to go out with someone first so that you can get an idea of the course.....

Mark
