CW, thanks for the start location. Now all I need to do is work out how to secure the nodding dog and the travel rug.
ScooBabe - Not bothered about lunch as I always carry a flask ands some luverly paste sarnies (it is a Skoda after all).

Go my joining destructions, but I've a 60 mile motorway detour to bellring for the West Yorks Leppers.

AB Which page in the Michelin Guide lists the hostelry?
Probably choose Roast Pork, but certainly unable to confirm untill full a la carte menue and detailed wine list is provided.

I shall be eating.

Whether I just have the roast or the roast, gammon AND chicken, I'll have to decide on the day.

Had to use the greasy spoons, dear we weren't allowed sharp instruments.

"Tavia paste sarnies" As if the Spanish wasn't enough, if you're moving on to Latin I'm giving up!

Just a quick note re Northern Karting. Could people who are going bring some cash along?

We have what may in polite circles be described as potential liquidity crisis resulting from marginalised cash flow. I am advised a notional injection of funds is considered an optimum short term solution.

All major credit cards, Diners and Amex charge card sir.

One would respectfully add, that a surcharge is necessary to cover administration. (current amount levied 33% sir)

Oops missed the decimal place.

330%

Craft: just about to drop u a line to confirm start time. Just the sight of your car (and wife) are worth the a detour

I am not willing to run my car to this I am afraid I have had it looked at again by someone local who advised me against running it due to the worsening condition of the header tank and dubious looks of the pulley.

A nice muppet has orderd the relevant parts so I can replace them and service it as soon as I finish my stretch of nights. Unfortunatley I was hoping that they would arrive today so I could do it today but alas it is not to be

The other issue is work, I may be seconded from Saturday night onwards to another depot somewhere else which means Sunday will be hard to get to.........though they have said I can possibly go in later on the Sunday.

So, with no car and the impending I don't know where the hell I am going to be working.......I may be unable to go

Michelle.

Fair enough, although Mr Whiskey says we should be finished by 4.30 to 5pm. Depends how far up the A38 it is, reckon 45 mins to hour back to yours.

I'll be leaving between 9.15 and 9.30am on Sunday morning so upto then to decide.

I won't be staying that late as...

a) With driving, if I drink too much Pepsi the drive home becomes a serious of stops at garages with toilets.

b) Sunday night is NFL night on Sky Sports - can't miss my weekly dose.

Mr Booth, traditional methods for transfer of funds. My four friends with denims tatoos and Harleys are the prefered security measures.

Chelleee, I have access to Websters & The Concise Oxford. Happy to share with you to ensure you comprehend posts that comprise sentences with words of more than four letters.

Steve, I'll drop u a line so you can travel down with the northern gang if you wish.
