they're plug'n'play for jap models which means that they push uk fuel even further over the edge.
mapping by someone reputable (andy F north, pavlo central, jolly green giant south iirc is the SN recommended list
) is essential.
Boost - my 1st choice would be an apexi avcr but a dawes at £30 odd will suffice.

Boost control on the early cars is poor so a boost controller is a good idea but not essential, and as Tath says a Dawes will suffice although if you'd like the gear dependant boost control then go for the AVCR.

Latest update - FC Commanders individually are £139.591. Serial numbers of the Power FC units are required.
rsjohn, If we can get 10 we get them cheaper £359ish, so I reckon we go for 10.
We've got 8, you'd make 9 someone else'll be along soon

sorry to be a pain guys but i'm going to have to withdraw from the gb. i really don't want to but 'er in doors has reminded me that on top of the other bits i have lined up for the scooby, i'll have a baby to pay for in a few months. gutted about having to drop out but a case of having to. sorry again.

I've asked AndyF for a deal on mapping these things. Here is the reply:
Hi Dean
Yes thats not a problem. Normally my mapping price is £240+vat but for 5+
cars I'll do it for £250 inclusive of vat.
Travelling anywhere in the UK is normally £200 for day one and £80 each
additional day. I can map 2 cars per travelling day and 3 per non travelling
day ie the middle day of a 3 day session.
For 7 cars that would work out at £51 each or 10 cars at £44 each.

im not to fused would be nice to get sooner but would be willing to hang on but would the place were buying from be willing to open for the people wanting to get now and let those that cant yet get at same price when they can ? long shot i know but would keep people happy

excuse my stupdity but where is andy f located it would be great to get him to map mine but don't think he's round the corner if its some where nice maybe go for a couple of days and see if he can do a few other bits and bobs really want my apexi as soon as i can before i spend the money but then again the longer it goes on the more time i have to get some other bits and bobs so don't really mind i'm easy (so they say) chris
