idiot proof, labels etc ,most of the plugs only fit the right socket, not many wires after that and they are labelled.
one tip ,you need the ignition barrel in or it wont work because of the immobiliser and the key as well.
let me know how you get on.

exceelent sound like myu sort of wiring!! no probs with the ig switch tho - be quite cool having a decent key for it and a free immobiliser!! means ill have to get a spare made too then which should stump the local subaru garage (again!)

Thats one thing with this van _ trying to rememebr all the cars im supposed to own when ordering spares!! subaru impreza, porsche 944, 944s2, 928S4, early bay, late bay, VW golf, T25 -theres more!!! Ive had some amusing phone conversations when ordering parts!!

Doppelganger - fear not - there will be many more updates and questions! Im still sorting out me pedals at the moment - and front heater matrix etc - working front to back so by the time I get to the engine it will be drivable

samll update - loom has arrived form TSR - looks pretty straigh forward now!. Hydraulic clutch conversion is all complete, new ball joint boots finished, porsche brake adaptors have been mocked up and sent to machinist, new washer bottle fitted, now in process of making brake pushrod - and I lowered the fornt bag mnounts another 30mm, Smoothed fornt bumper has been trial fitted and prob a load more stuff - but all in all the front end underneath isnt to far form finished - oh yeah double air horns fitted too, and new speedo cable. the list goes on!!
looking forward to getting into the middle and doing the Rad and exhaust now.

b4 I do that I have to move garage to a bit closer to home- no more 3/4hr commutes to work on it!! may do some piccies soon but TBH it dont look much unless you can spot the difference between standard and modified pedals etc.

T25 washer bottle fitted - cheers rubbachicken (VZi) for the idea, my new £30 VW T4 rad find from the weekend, you cant see it but the big brakes arte all on there now - cant rememebr what the other pics are. Oh and the 1 piece front bumper too, and the mk1 golf blower set up made by mate jase magic metal moulding hands. also the bus on full lift from rear - lots of clearance.
