dan,
I was at the Worcester meet and will more than likely make the next one (work dependant). For most of us this was the first meet so sorry we'd not seen you there.
Honest a real good bunch of guys with common interest Subaru,s. see my post for Oulton park.
Or try and organise a meet for Hereford /leominster or Worcester, Iam up for it.

Tony,

Hope you got home ok. Drop me an email to fill me in about the situation with your pride and joy. I know it's not nice being without your 'loved one'!

richard,
I have posted a reply on big thankyou @ Outon
basically Mass air flow meter buggered got Subaru assistance came no chance of a new part so sent a Trailler to pick the car at took me home at about 3pm.
car was taken 3pm Monday to Listers to be repaired.
The high fuel consumption might not have been just a heavy foot it could have been the first signs of the impending doom.

Tony

Hope all goes well. Glad to hear that the problem has been diagnosed. Funny how it didn't give a light though? Hope the fuel bill gets better!!

if you disconnect it the light does go on. I think the signal it gave the ECU was acceptible to the ECU but was completely the wrong value to run.
listers have fixed it pick it up Tuesday, Ive sarted to get the shakes, withdraw symptons!!
will go up to Tamworth and Donno me thinks Tony
