Sorry to here you can't come Kev, but there will be another one, probably a midweek East Mids evening meet when the 'local' roads are quieter.
I've got loads of roads left over from this one, so we could do a Midlands Mega Meet 2 for August or whenever using the bits in between.
Hope there are still <B>some</B> people coming on Saturday?
Chris

I'll be heading down the A446 from Bassetts Pole towards the M42 by 9:15/9:30 (depending on how busy Sutton is).
CharlieWhiskey
I'll post whatever pictures i take, but i don't want to wait on a hump-back bridge for a posse of cars that don't turn up

16 degrees and a few light showers should get rid of most of the tourists, cyclists & horse riders too!
Might not have much effect on the farmers and other traffic though
See you in the mornin

Thanks to all that organised the meet, it seemed like it was goin to be a real blast. It was in the first section that i started to have problems, the car was holding back on boost and then smoking like me grandad on his Woodbine!
At the mid-section meeting point i would like to thank all for the concern, espesially IGratton for the call to Beechdale Subaru. I went straight there and they sorted it out , apparently due to the frantic driving oil had surged into the boost controller solenoid and was causing it to surge, then the oil was working its way into the turbo and burning off, hence the smokey exhaust. New solenoid under warrenty, big thanks to Dave at Beechdale.
Sorry if i slowed any of you guys up, i don`t usely do that. Hope you all had fun on the second stage, i know i would of, see you all on the next one.

Walker: Glad to know it's alright, glad to here the recommendation of Beechdale as they should be servicing mine in a week or two.
Hope everyone had a great time, shame about the bits of traffic we encountered but that's Saturday mornings for you.
I hope you all agree Dave's is an excellent venue, a possible for future East Mids meets?
Possibility of the 'next' one being either Midlands Mega Meet 2 with Kev, Paul & Boomer
or a 'local' Treasure Hunt type run.
Those who enjoyed today should check out the Northern Sections plans for the Snake Pass run, should be a good one and not too far away.
Did anyone clock the 'DogPlods' face at the hump back bridge on Forest Lane? <Priceless>
