Crickey, this modding never stops! Braided brake lines next:
From the group buy here then fitting by Performance Developments in Manchester for a very reasonable price, thanks Paul
(0161 684 7555 tell him I sent you
)
Front before:

Front after:

Rear before:

Rear after:

While I was there, Paul persuaded me to get an engine strut brace fitted as well, once again for a very reasonable price.
Driving impressions now: Just to recap what mods we've got now:
TEK 3 REMAP @ POWERSTATION
K&N PANEL FILTER
3 PORT BOOST SOLENOID
3" MILLTEK EXHAUST
3" MILLTEK SPORTS CAT DOWNPIPE
FRONT 22mm ARB
ANTI-LIFT KIT
REAR 22mm ARB
REAR UPRATED ALLOY DROPLINKS
E-TECH ENGINE BAY STRUT BRACE
BRAIDED BRAKE LINES
EBC REDSTUFF PADS
5.1 BRAKE OIL
Phew! That's enough for now I think
So, driving impressions after leaving Pauls today? Well, the motorway is not the best place to get a feel for a tighter front end, but on the small amount of turning I've done today, there's definatly something different going on, bit tighter, bit sharper.
Brakes meanwhile, big improvement, had a few test dabs on the m-way, and very smooth and better feel to the pedal than before. Less travel too, but that's probably down to the newly bleeded brakes as much as anything.
May go out for a play tonight just to test a little more

And you give me grief for spending money on the old-girl!
I was expecting the braided lines to be chrome coloured not plastic coated? Just shows what I know
Just some AST or lowering springs now and she will look fine.
Did you fall down the hill just as you were taking this one?

......Does look like you fell down the hill though!!!!
hey cw42
(you swiss mountainpass driver..
)
got a question..
spotted the "EVO" sticker on your windscreen.. why is it there? is there a particular reason or is it just because you like EVO?
(I read every single issue of EVO although they're quite expensive in Switzerland..)
I recently spotted a Swiss GC8 with the same sticker on the German Autobahn which had me wondering where he'd gotten that from..
regards, Martin

^^Love EVO martin
I got it years ago, when I first subscribed to it. This is the 3rd car it's been on now, and is looking a little worse for wear
You could try emailing them and asking for a sticker, I'm sure they could provide one. Otherwise, any sticker printer should be able to make one up
(swiss mountains rule!

After taking the pictures up at Newmills gf today, I forgot to take my cw42 plate off! Didn't realise until I pulled up behind another car at the top of brabyns brow! Quite a distance
Quick pull into the Indian and whipped it off! oh-er!
