Bournemouth rolling road meet!
Bit worried!
Wagon due 45000 service
Been rec'd to have the belts changed, mon 17th earliest date!
Anyone know a garage that touches imports, and is kosher?
Dont fancy a crash bang on the rolling road
john

Mark i've been working out of Odiham (basingstoke way) for the last few days so my only form of transport has been various bavarian cars none of which come anywhere close to the driving pleasure of the scoob.
I belive what you may be seeing in my posts is a form of withdrawl symptom that not even lots of beer can quell.
I am however back in bournemouth as of wednesday and will have my car back by lunchtime so hopefully i will recover. If i don't i'll be the chap in the corner on the 15th rocking gently back and forth whilst foaming at the mouth

Ta for that Paul. Phoned him up, but he hasn't got the correct tooling for the belts on my motor! Will def use him in the future as he didn't try & bull**** me.

Hi all,
I spoke to Jon Piper at Eclipse yesterday and we were discussing the timings of the event.
We appear to have 10 / 12 cars coming and they will take 1/2 hour each to test making a possible 6 hours.
If we start at 9.30 we will be ready to go at 10am and would probably finish around 3 - pm.
This isn't a problem for me as I don't mind hanging around and meeting everyone, but if anyone is in a rush you might want to book a time in. Ideally everyone would be there at once at the start, but some might not want to hang around?
This is a typical scenario at any road meet so nothing new with the timespan.
Could anyone who wants a specific time book it with John on the number on page 2.
Thanks

My poor standard car doesn't stand a chance against a P1 with a downpipe :-(
Unless we look at PaW, which it tends to do better at. Last time I was at Eclipse they asked me where I got the bodykit from LOL

Hi Plantie,
That will make 15 of us
Very good turn out.
Went to see John today, and as long as people don't mind waiting too much that should be ok.
I will have to cap it there with the numbers though.
Big Bear, you still coming? I've included you in the numbers.
As I said, it will be 1/2 hour per car for 2 runs so I will go round everyone in the morning and get everyone to sign up, pay and specify a time preference. Food will be availble via mr sandwich van!
I will bring the digi camera and i'm trying to get Banzai / Jap car involved.

If we all gather at 9.30, we can get started with the first at 10.00
We can all decide times for hose who need them 1st thing. ie if you want to turn up, say hi, bugger off and come back for a run at12... you can do that.
Best sort it on the morning...
I want my video back you thieveing gypsy!
